Missions

Rock Church Ministries is a mission minded church, reaching out to our local community as well as to the world.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.  Mark 16:15-18

Foreign Missions

Bishop John Lazarus and his family

India

  • Rock Church Ministries has provided a 4 X 4 Jeep to the work in India, enabling Bishop John Lazarus to travel into the jungle areas to start new churches.
  • Mattresses and toys have been provided to the orphans at the Rock Orphan Home.
  • Funds were provided by Rock Church Ministries to build a playground for the orphan children.
  • Our Youth-Joshua Generation-raised $1,500 to put a roof on one of the village churches.
  • Periodic missions trips are taken to hold revival meetings
  • Monthly pastoral support

Other

  • Our young people occasionally take missions trips to various countries that are either partially or fully funded by our church.

Home Missions

Spanish Church

  • There is a large Spanish population in our area and our Spanish Church was established to reach them.
  • Our goal is to plant a church an additional Spanish church in another area as well as another country.

Evangelism

  • Each summer our church holds it annual Vacation Bible School to reach out to the children in our community.
  • Special revival meetings are held throughout the year.
  • Door to door evangelism takes place periodically throughout the year.
  • Community outreach events
  • Free car wash provided as a tool to invite people to church
